For the private sessions, I welcome you into my sacred space in Abcoude.
Sessions usually last around two hours.
It’s comfortable to wear easy, loose clothing during the sessions. Layers are great.
We always start the sessions with a tuning-in to see what is needed in the moment.

Bodywork Dearmouringis a powerful healing method that helps release physical, emotional, and energetic blockages stored in the body. It combines ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic techniques.
Our body stores experiences, emotions, and memories in the tissues. Unprocessed pain and trauma create an energetic armor—dense areas that block the natural flow of life energy. This armor can show up as physical tension, chronic pain, emotional numbness, or psychological discomfort.
Dearmouring helps to systematically soften and dissolve these layers, allowing the body to return to its natural state of openness and flow.
This holistic approach acknowledges the deep connection between the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects. Through conscious touch, breathwork, sound, and movement, an experienced practitioner supports the release of stuck energy from the fascia, muscles, and energetic meridians.
During this transformative process, emotions, memories, and insights may surface, creating space for integration and healing.
Releasing blockages through dearmouring brings numerous benefits. Physically, it reduces pain, increases flexibility, and restores the flow of energy. Emotionally, it opens the way to fully feel and process suppressed feelings such as unresolved grief, anger, or fear. Mentally, it helps break limiting beliefs and patterns. An essential aspect of dearmouring is creating a safe and supportive space. Each session is unique and tailored to the wisdom of your body. By tuning into your sensations, breath, and responses, you develop trust in your body and awaken your self-healing capacity.
Ultimately, bodywork dearmouring is a sacred process of coming home to yourself. It helps you release armor, embrace your authenticity, and experience a freer, more vibrant, and embodied way of being. As blockages dissolve, greater clarity, self-love, and deep attunement to your essence arise.
TRE, or Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises, and/or Body Remembers Trauma Therapy,is a body-centered method that helps release built-up tension and stress by activating natural, therapeutic tremors in the body. This method was developed by Dr. David Berceli and is based on the understanding that the body has an innate mechanism to release tension.
When we experience stress or trauma, the body instinctively tightens to protect itself. This accumulated tension can become trapped in the nervous system, leading to physical complaints, emotional overwhelm, and mental unrest.
TRE focuses on releasing this deeply rooted tension by supporting the body to reactivate its natural tremoring response.
During a TRE session, you perform simple exercises that activate specific muscle groups, especially in the pelvic area. This process induces subtle tremors or shaking movements that arise deep within the body. These movements help release stored tension, calm the nervous system, and bring the body back to a state of relaxation and balance.
The benefits of TRE are diverse. Physically, it helps reduce chronic tension, pain, and fatigue. Emotionally, it creates space to release unresolved feelings and restore inner calm. Mentally, it supports clarity and focus, while on a spiritual level, it contributes to a deeper connection with your body and a sense of grounding and safety.
As with dearmouring, safety and self-regulation are essential in TRE. The method is gentle and respects your body’s boundaries. You learn to listen to your body’s signals and work at your own pace.
We don’t break through emotions, beliefs, and patterns only in our minds. Instead of immediately revisiting painful memories, Somatic Healing works by paying attention to the physical sensations present in the body. By following and releasing these subtle bodily sensations, the nervous system can naturally and safely discharge tension. This process helps complete stuck fight, flight, or freeze responses and restores the body to a state of calm and balance.
By slowing down and becoming aware of bodily signals, you learn to activate your body’s self-regulation capacity. This not only helps reduce physical and emotional complaints but also builds resilience and restores a sense of safety and connection.
Emotionally, it supports processing overwhelming feelings and restoring inner balance. Moreover, it strengthens your ability to stay present in the moment and to rebuild trust in your body and yourself.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an effective therapy for processing traumatic memories and emotional blockages. This method, developed by Francine Shapiro, uses bilateral stimulation—such as eye movements, taps, or sounds—to activate the brain’s processing mechanisms.
During an EMDR session, you focus on a specific memory or fear while I guide you to follow external stimulation, such as side-to-side eye movements. This process stimulates the brain’s natural processing capacity, reducing the emotional intensity of the memory or fear and creating space for new perspectives and healing.
If during the process we come across a memory or fear and together conclude that EMDR could be helpful, we can create an EMDR plan—provided you have sufficient capacity to proceed.
